KUANTAN, Sept 8 (Bernama) — The state government, through Tourism Pahang, continues to strengthen the tourism sector by organising the 2025 Pahang Tourism promotion roadshow in India.
Tourism Pahang said the roadshow will take place in two major cities, New Delhi on Sept 24 and Chennai on Sept 26, with a focus on Business-to-Business (B2B) networking involving travel agents, tour operators, and airlines.
“The main objective is to strengthen strategic cooperation between the tourism industry players in Pahang and India, as well as to create opportunities for more attractive and well-packaged holiday offerings,” the statement said.
Among the iconic tourism products to be showcased are highland getaways in Fraser’s Hill, Genting Highlands, and Cameron Highlands, exotic beaches such as Cherating and Tioman Island, as well as the uniqueness of Taman Negara, which is over 130 million years old.
Pahang aims to position itself as the preferred destination for Indian tourists in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2026, thereby reinforcing the state’s status as ‘The Heart of Malaysia’.
