Over 87,000 Students Benefit From Nadi Nurture Dilea Initiative

KOTA BHARU, Aug 8 (Bernama) — A total of 87,040 students nationwide have benefited from free tuition under the National Information Dissemination Centre (NADI) Nurture Digital Learning (DILEA) initiative since it was introduced in July last year.

NADI Nurture DILEA coordinator Siti Fatimah Mohd Saman said the platform supported learning for students aged 13 to 18 through a Learning Management System (LMS), enabling them to access their accounts at the centre and attend live classes according to the set schedule.

She said the DILEA system contained all the necessary learning elements, aimed at offering students a variety of up-to-date and engaging learning methods.

Siti Fatimah added that over 100 tuition teachers were actively involved in delivering lessons under the programme.

“All learning activities are carried out online using digital technology, and we also encourage the community to visit NADI to make use of the facilities available at the centre, she told Bernama at the MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR) 2025, held at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium here today.

NADI Nurture DILEA, supported by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), aims to offer free benefits to the community through five core elements, namely Academic Live Class Guidance, which includes Open Tuition and Guidance Tuition; Guidance and Progress Assessment; English Language Mastery; Revision Videos; and Special Programmes.

Siti Fatimah said the PMR 2025 in served as a platform for NADI Nurture DILEA to expand its outreach and promote free digital education to the community.

The three-day PMR 2025, which runs until Aug 9, is spearheaded by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) in collaboration with the Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department (ICU JPM), with support from various ministries and government agencies.

The programme offers more than 100 direct services to the public, showcases the latest technologies, and features various community outreach initiatives, all part of the holistic MADANI government approach.
