Police have yet to uncover any leads in their investigation into the disappearance of a woman who was last seen on April 9, on her way to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters in Putrajaya.
“There are still no indications or developments regarding her whereabouts,” Kuala Lumpur police chief Rusdi Isa said in a brief statement to the media today.
However, he said 12 individuals have been questioned so far as part of the investigation into the missing woman, who is a “Datin Seri”.
Rusdi previously confirmed that a police report was lodged on April 9 over the disappearance of Pamela Ling, 42, the same day she was scheduled to give a statement to the MACC.
He said Ling had visited the anti-graft agency’s headquarters multiple times before her disappearance, and her lawyer filed a police report in Seri Kembangan.
MACC officers have confirmed that Ling did not arrive at the headquarters on April 9.
Ling, a mother of three, had been missing since last month while en route to the MACC headquarters. Her brother claimed that she had been abducted.
He claimed that the e-hailing car Ling was travelling in that day was intercepted by three unidentified vehicles, and that she was instructed to get into one of them.
