PETALING JAYA:
Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin has called for calm following the spat between two senior party leaders and urged members to allow its disciplinary board to probe the matter.
Muhyiddin said while he understood the anxiety and unease among members over the squabble between secretary-general Azmin Ali and Supreme Council member, Wan Saiful Wan Jan, there was a need to raise issues via the proper channels.
Failure to do so, he said would not only weaken the party but could see the tiff being exploited by its rivals.
“In such situations, it is vital we remain calm, disciplined and confident that the issues would be resolved via the proper channels,” he said in a statement.
