KUALA LUMPUR: Motul Malaysia says it enters 2026 on a stronger footing after recording robust growth in 2025.
This was supported by the collective performance of its nationwide dealer network and a series of strategic expansions aimed at widening its market reach.
The high performance automotive lubricants specialist marked the close of 2025 by recognising the contributions of its partners, with 109 dealers nationwide participating in a four day, three night dealer appreciation trip to Pattaya, Thailand in November.
The curated programme was designed to strengthen long-term partnerships and reinforce collaboration across the network.
“Our dealer network forms the foundation of our success in Malaysia,” said Ravi Shankar, general manager for Motul Malaysia.
“These partnerships represent collaborative commitments to delivering excellence to workshops and end users, not just transactional relationships,” he added.
Motul said the initiative reflected its belief that dealer success and company growth are closely linked, fostering a sense of shared purpose across its distribution network.
The experience also highlighted the brand’s heritage through subtle French inspired elements that underscored its legacy and identity.
As part of its ongoing growth strategy, Motul continues to strengthen its authorised dealer network in Malaysia to improve customer access to its premium lubricant solutions.
New partnerships announced as the company enters 2026 include Lubeon Sdn Bhd in Puchong, Selangor, Nget Soon Lubricants Sdn Bhd in Tawau, Sabah, and Corporate Performance Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
The company said its collaborative approach combines global expertise with local market knowledge, positioning dealers as trusted advisors who guide customers towards lubricant solutions tailored to specific applications.
“This expansion ensures more Malaysians have access to premium lubricants backed by knowledgeable partners,” Ravi said.
Motul noted that strengthening its presence in key regions will allow it to better serve drivers nationwide, while supporting partners with training and resources to meet evolving industry demands.
The expansion also reflects the company’s confidence in Malaysia’s automotive market.
Motul said it will build on this momentum under its “Ignite the Grid” theme for 2026, rooted in motorsport values of precision, courage and performance.
