SHAH ALAM: A woman and her nine-year-old son faced a terrifying moment when a tree fell onto their car on Jalan Paip, Kampung Budiman, last night.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the 37-year-old woman escaped unharmed, but her son sustained minor injuries.
He added that a team from the Kapar Fire and Rescue Station was rushed to the scene after the department received the alert at 10.43pm.
“There were two victims, the mother and her son.
“The boy sustained minor head injuries and was taken to a nearby clinic for treatment.
“Firefighters on site have completed cutting and clearing the fallen branches,” he said.
