PETALING JAYA:
The meteorological department has warned of bad weather in multiple states until 9pm tonight.
In a Facebook post at 6.40pm this evening, it said thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected in Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Sarawak and Sabah.
In Perak, the districts that will be affected are Kampar, Batang Padang and Muallim.
In Selangor, Hulu Selangor will be affected; while in Negeri Sembilan, Seremban, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah, Rembau and Tampin will see thunderstorms.
Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit and Bintulu in Sarawak are expected to be hit by bad weather while Tenom, Nabawan, Keningau and Sandakan in Sabah will be similarly affected.
