Maybank Q2 earnings up 4pct at RM2.63bil, declares 30 sen dividend

KUALA LUMPUR: Malayan Banking Bhd’s (Maybank) net profit rose four per cent to RM2.63 billion in the second quarter ended June 30, 2025 (2Q25) from RM2.53 billion a year ago, as higher income offset rising provisions for bad debts.

Earnings per share came in higher at 21.75 sen compared to 20.96 sen in 2Q24.

The bank declared a first interim cash dividend of 30 sen per share, with the entitlement and payment dates to be announced in due course.
