KUALA LUMPUR: News on the latest moves on the stock and crypto markets.

Bursa Malaysia’s 30-stock index closed higher on Tuesday, supported by plantation and utilities heavyweight.

The index added about one point to close at 1,586.

Pharmaniaga was the most active stock at closing bell, adding 10 per cent or two sen to 21.5 sen.

The ringgit strengthened against the dollar at 4.2080.

In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin marginally rose to trade at RM475,096.

Ethereum traded at RM18,337 and Solana climbed higher to trade at RM921.
