KUALA LUMPUR: News on stock, crypto and ringgit moves.
Bursa Malaysia’s key index started the week on a firmer note, defying Wall Street’s negative lead.
Gains in utilities heavyweights such as Tenaga Nasional, which rose 26 sen or two per cent, helped lift local sentiment.
The ringgit also firmed against the US dollar to 4.2190.
In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin advanced to RM471,000.
Ethereum climbed to RM18,201, while Solana gained to RM885.
That wraps up today’s Market Pulse.
