KUALA LUMPUR: News on stock, crypto and ringgit moves.

Bursa Malaysia’s 30-stock index closed in the red after a three-day rally on profit-taking activities.

The FBM KLCI dropped almost eight points to 1,582.

VS Industry maintained its spot as the most active stock for the second day.

Its share price added more than one per cent or one sen to close at 55 sen.

The ringgit continued its decline against the US dollar at 4.2230.

In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin rose to RM480,913.

Ethereum traded higher at RM18,602 while Solana stood at RM947.
