KUALA LUMPUR: News on stock, crypto and ringgit moves.

Bursa Malaysia’s 30-stock index extended its positive momentum to close higher today.

Buying interest in Vitrox and Malaysian Pacific Industries lifted sentiment in the technology sector, which rose by 4.5 per cent.

Meanwhile, the ringgit ended the day nearly flat at 4.3730 against the greenback.

In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin edged slightly higher at RM410,381.

Ethereum was marginally lower at RM7,787, while Solana held steady at RM675.
