Bursa Malaysia opened higher today, lifted by optimism following the US Federal Reserve’s rate cuts.
The central bank lowered interest rates for the second consecutive time this year, signalling uncertainty over the December reduction.
The benchmark index is expected to move within the 1,610 to 1,620 range.
In the crypto market, Bitcoin continued its decline, dropping to RM465,310.
Ethereum slipped to RM16,509, while Solana held at RM820.
