PETALING JAYA:
A 28-year-old man died yesterday evening after being stabbed in the chest outside a house in Senawang, Seremban in Negeri Sembilan.
Seremban police chief Hatta Che Din said the incident which occurred at around 7pm yesterday saw the victim stabbed with a knife following a misunderstanding with the suspect, 31.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical officer.
“Police arrested the suspect with the help of members of the public, while a knife was also confiscated.
“The motive of the stabbing is still under investigation,” Hatta said in a statement, adding that the suspect has been remanded until Aug 18.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
