KUCHING: A man was found dead with gunshot wounds to the head in a car along Jalan Stephen Yong, Batu Kawa, here this morning.
Padawan district police chief Superintendent Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi said police received information about the incident from two men who came to the Batu Kawa police station at 5.30am.
According to the report, the two men informed police that their friend was lying motionless in the car and was believed to have been shot while driving along the road.
“When they arrived at the station, the two men brought their friend who was lying in the car.
“Investigators from the Padawan district police headquarters and medical officers confirmed that the 34-year-old victim had died.
“There was a gunshot wound to the victim’s head,” he said in a statement today.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
