KUALA LUMPUR: Pas Youth chief Afnan Hamimi Taib Azamudden has described Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s resignation as Perikatan Nasional chairman as a generous gesture, praising the former prime minister’s leadership and service to the nation.
Afnan said Muhyiddin‘s service to PN and Malaysia, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic, would always be remembered and respected.
“We regard this as a big-hearted and highly respected decision. All of Tan Sri’s contributions while leading PN and the country will continue to be remembered,” he said in a Facebook post today.
