KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 11 (Bernama) — The effectiveness of the implementation of the MADANI Economic Policy, along with the latest figures on seized proceeds and penalties collected by enforcement agencies, were among the matters discussed at the Dewan Rakyat sitting today.

According to the Order Paper published on the Parliament’s official website, Aminolhuda Hassan (PH-Sri Gading) is scheduled to ask the Prime Minister to explain how the government assesses the effectiveness of the implementation of the MADANI Economic Policy, over a period of 18 to 24 months.

He also wants to know about the ongoing and planned efforts to strengthen the implementation of the policy, to ensure it fully achieves its objectives.

During the same Ministers’ Question Time, Datuk Mohd Isam Mohd Isa (-Tampin) will ask the Prime Minister about the latest figures on confiscated proceeds and penalties collected by government enforcement agencies, as well as the measures taken to strengthen efforts to curb the country’s revenue leakage.

Also drawing attention is a question from Zahir Hassan (PH-Wangsa Maju) to the Home Minister regarding the number of arrests and prosecutions related to the misuse of identity cards, including cases of identity theft and the sale of such documents, during the oral question-and-answer session.

He will also seek an explanation on the strategies in place to ensure that the data of identity card holders is protected from identity theft, and on the sale of such documents, as well as on the enforcement and prevention mechanisms being implemented.

After the question-and-answer session, the Dewan Rakyat sitting continues with the committee-level debate on the Supply Bill 2026.

The ongoing Third Meeting of the Fourth Session of the 15th Parliament runs for 35 days, until Dec 4.
