Last month, Samsung showcased its first tri-fold smartphone at the 2025 K-Tech Showcase in . While the tech giant has yet to divulge details on the device, there has been no shortage of rumours. Recently, leakster Evan Blass has revealed some more information on the phone, including its name. Apparently, Samsung will be calling it the Galaxy Z TriFold.

According to Blass’ X post, this is the “confirmed” final retail branding for the foldable. Aside from that, the leakster detailed a few more specifications, some of which have been covered in earlier reports. For starters, the Galaxy Z TriFold is said to feature a 6.5-inch cover display with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. Meanwhile, the inner screen reportedly measures 10 inches. Furthermore, the leakster stated that the phone’s three panels vary slightly in thickness. These panels will allegedly measure 3.9mm, 4.0mm, and 4.2mm. While Blass did not provide a measurement for when the device is folded, previous rumours estimated it to be between 12mm and 15mm thick.

Physical dimensions aside, the leak also claimed that the Galaxy Z TriFold will pack a Snapdragon chip. The post did not specify which one, but the phone has been long-rumoured to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Additionally, Blass claimed that Samsung is equipping the device with a 5,437mAh battery, as well as a 200MP main camera.

As usual, these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt. Samsung has yet to officially confirm any of these details. For now, the brand has only disclosed its plan to launch the phone by the end of the year.  Some rumours claim that the foldable will debut on 5 December, with availability limited to certain markets.
