KRW at the wrong place at the wrong time?

KUALA LUMPUR: Mistaken identity? Guilty by association? Or something like that?

Whatever it is, Red Warriors (KRW) have denied any wrongdoing following reports that they have been banned by FIFA from registering players.

Though KRW admitted they received the FIFA transfer ban earlier this month, they claim that the fault was not of their own doing.

This came about after Pol Corpas, who was an assistant coach and analyst with FC, complained to FIFA over unpaid salaries.

To this, KRW claimed that Corpas’ issue was with FC, not KRW..

However, there are claims that KRW’s former version was Kelantan FC

“We strongly deny our involvement in any clubs prior to this whereby earlier this season, we had offered an official explanation to FIFA, and it was accepted because we could register players this season,” the KRW statement read.

“This matter was raised after we tried to register new imports during the second transfer window.”
