KUALA LUMPUR: Visitors at the Malaysia Cultural Festival 2025 (FBM) got a taste of pasta with a Malaysian twist at the Kimball booth here at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa.

Kimball distributed about 2,000 plates of Pasta ala Malaysia featuring creamy Creamy Keju-nara rendang, Buttermilk udang and Tomato Cendawan Sambal Ayam to those who came to the event.

These unique flavours tantalised the taste buds of visitors who enjoyed the free pastas while admiring the scenic view of the lake.

Homemaker Sharidatul Akmar, 39, came all the way from Johor for a short holiday with her family and the FBM was one of their stops during the trip.

“The festivity is amazing because I have never seen such a festival before. The free pasta was definitely an additional bonus befitting to the taste buds of Malaysians.

“The pasta combinations were delicious and so apt to our local flavours,” she said when met at the Kimball booth here on Sunday (Sept 14).

She added that through food, festival-goers can experience the things they have not tasted prior to this.

Physiotherapist Angel Deyvani, 27, enjoyed the creamy cajunara rendang pasta, a combination that she felt was tasty.

“I like the idea of the free pasta giveaway because it helps festival-goers to experience this event at another level. This also helps people to decide if they want to buy Kimball at the shops.

“As for the FBM, I think it is a unique event where everyone can experience a little bit of everything at one place,” she said.

The Kimball booth also offered fun and games for festival-goers with tongue twisters, reading radio scripts and other games related to Malaysia.
