Further negotiations regarding the Kampung Sungai Baru eviction must be held with the developer and not the government, said Ministers in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), Dr Zaliha Mustafa.
This, she said, is because the government only facilitates development conditions and the local authority’s administrative matters.
