KUALA LUMPUR: Kelantan TRW ended a six-match winless run following a 3-2 victory over Sabah in their Super League match at the Sultan Muhd IV Stadium in Kota Baru on Tuesday.
Kelantan stormed into a commanding early lead through Alexandre Yeoule (sixth minute), Simen Lyngbo (16th) and Asraf Aliffuddin Yasin (23rd).
Sabah hit back when Darren Lok scored in the ninth minute, while Ajdin Mujagic added late drama by converting a penalty in the seventh minute of stoppage time.
The win was Kelantan‘s fourth of the season from 15 matches.
Sabah and Kelantan are now level on 14 points, with the former sitting 10th on goal difference.
Meanwhile, Terengganu edged DPMM 1-0 at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium.
Engku Nur Shakir Engku Yacob struck the winner in the 43rd minute.
The Turtles climbed to fifth on 24 points from 15 matches, while DPMM remain seventh on 17 points.
