Kelantan PMR 2025 Concludes, Inspires People With Technology

KOTA BHARU, Aug 9 (Bernama) — The edition of the MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR) 2025 officially concluded today, after three days of exhibitions and various activities which inspired many, particularly in the field of the latest technology.

Organised by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), in collaboration with the Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department (ICU JPM), the programme was held at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium, and officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ibrahim.

Starting Thursday, visitors had the opportunity to explore local innovation exhibitions, green technology demonstrations, technology entrepreneurship workshops, and interactive sessions with the nation’s young scientists and inventors.

One of them, Ahmad Khalis Rayyan Khairulzaman, 19, from Tumpat, expressed his excitement at witnessing the creativity of local students, particularly the ‘Kancil’ robot displayed at the MOSTI Pavilion.

He said the exhibition not only broadened the minds of the younger generation but also inspired everyone to become more technologically literate.

“This programme is very beneficial, as it allows us to learn about technology that can be applied in daily life and business,” he said.

Mohd Haziq Ahmad, 27, a young entrepreneur from Bachok, praised the government’s initiative to provide technological support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

“Through this programme, we have the opportunity to learn about the latest technology, as well as information on grants and entrepreneurship training, which is very useful,” he said.

Meanwhile, civil servant Wan Badri Wan Omar, 52, viewed PMR 2025 as aligned with the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI, which aims to promote national development through inclusive technological advancement, for the well-being of the people.

PMR 2025 is expected to continue in other states, expanding access to technology and development opportunities to more communities, thereby improving living standards nationwide.
