JOHOR BAHRU, July 31 (Bernama) — The Regent of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, today visited the Johor Royal Mausoleum in conjunction with Hari Hol to commemorate Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.
Also in attendance were the Raja Muda of Johor, Tunku Iskandar Abdul Jalil Abu Bakar Ibrahim Tunku Ismail and Tunku Abu Bakar Ibrahim Tunku Ismail, according to a post shared on Tunku Mahkota Ismail’s official Facebook page, which included several photos of the solemn event.
The ceremony was also attended by the Tunku Temenggong of Johor, Tunku Idris Iskandar Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Panglima of Johor, Tunku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Putera of Johor, Tunku Abu Bakar Sultan Ibrahim and the husband of Tunku Tun Aminah Sultan Ibrahim, Datuk Dennis Muhammad Abdullah.
Hari Hol is a day to commemorate the passing of previous Johor Sultans, a tradition that began in 1896, a year after the death of Sultan Abu Bakar.
