KUALA LUMPUR: Teto Martin’s 64th-minute strike secured a 1-0 win for Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) over Police in their Malaysia Cup first round, second-leg match on Saturday.
The Spanish winger, who netted six goals in the first leg, finished the round with seven goals to seal a landslide 11-1 aggregate victory for the defending champions at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium.

In Sarawak, Kuching City overturned a 1-0 first-leg deficit with a 2-0 win over Penang to progress 2-1 on aggregate.
Aidil Sharin Sahak’s side had an early effort by Gabriel Nistelrooy ruled out by VAR in the 32nd minute, but the hosts turned the tie around just before halftime.
Gabriel and Ronald Ngah scored in the second and third minute of first-half stoppage time.
Penang’s hopes of a comeback faded late in the match when Stefano Brundo was sent off in the 88th minute after receiving a second yellow card.
Meanwhile in Brunei, DPMM booked their place in the quarter-finals for the first time since returning to the M-League.
They drew 1-1 with Kelantan Red Warrior (KRW) at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium to advance 3-1 on aggregate.
KRW took a surprise lead through Abdul Latiff Suhaimi in the eighth minute, but the hosts responded swiftly as Hakeme Said equalised two minutes later.
