Investigation reaches 20% completion, Ismail Sabri to be summoned for two more weeks, says Azam

: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) investigation into former prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob is estimated to be approximately 15 to 20% complete.

Its chief commissioner, Tan Sri Azam Baki, said that they would continue to take statements from Ibmail Sabri for another two weeks, reported Sinar Harian.

“There are several documents we have asked him to provide, and this case is still ongoing, as I mentioned, this time it is concerning his asset declaration,” he said.

He said this after opening the Southeast Asia Anti-Corruption Conference: Recalling Jakarta Statement 2025 at the International Convention Centre (PICC), here on Tuesday (April 29).
