NEW DELHI, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) — India and Mauritius on Thursday signed several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) on cooperation in science and technology, power, hydrography and space research.
The MoUs were signed in the presence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Mauritius’ counterpart Navinchandra Ramgoolam, currently on an eight-day visit to India.
The two prime ministers held delegation-level talks in the city of Varanasi in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh.
A joint statement said that India would undertake several projects in Mauritius on grant basis, and several other projects on grant-cum-line of credit basis.
