The cutesy Ora Good Cat has just gotten an update for 2026 and it is RM30,000 cheaper than before.
GWM Malaysia has launched the latest fully electric hatchback lineup which now comes in Ultra and GT variants. There’s no more “Pro” variant with a smaller battery, and both Ultra and GT models are equipped with a 57.7kWh LFP battery along with a couple of design tweaks.
Some of the major design changes can be found in the interior which now features with a gear selector stalk on the steering column. This replaces the rotary gear selector on the centre console.
In addition, the Ora Good Cat finally has app support via the MyGWM app. This allows users to monitor and control vehicle functions remotely on their smartphones such as the air conditioner, windows, vehicle location, remaining range and charging status.

Here’s the official pricing for the new Ora Good Cat 2026 in Malaysia:
- Ora Good Cat Ultra – RM109,800

In terms of colours, the Ultra comes in the following options:

Meanwhile, the GT variant comes in:

The Ora Good Cat comes with 8-years / 180,000km warranty for the battery, motor and electric motor control unit, along with 5-years / 150,000km full vehicle warranty.
For greater peace of mind, GWM Malaysia is providing 1-to-1 battery pack replacement if the battery SOH drops below 70%.
To sweeten the deal, GWM Malaysia also offers a RM3,000 early bird reward if you register your Ora Good Cat by 31st December 2025.
2026 Ora Good Cat Ultra

The Ora Good Cat Ultra is now the “baseline” variant which comes with a bigger battery. It still gets a single motor pushing 105kW (141hp) and 210Nm of torque to the front wheels.
GWM Malaysia didn’t provide any 0-100km/h acceleration time but the Good Cat has a top speed of 150km/h.

Despite being the Ultra model, the range is slightly lower than the previous Ultra 500. The previous 63.1kWh NMC battery has been replaced with a newer 57.7kWh SVOLT LFP Battery that provides an NDEC-rated range of 480km on a single charge. Realistically you should expect at least over 300km of driving range in our Malaysian traffic conditions, subject to driving style.
When it comes to charging, it remains unchanged as the Good Cat Ultra still supports single-phase AC charging up to 6.6kW and DC charging of up to 60kW. A full charge on AC takes about 9 hours, while DC charging from 30-80% takes approximately 38 minutes.
The Ora Good Cat also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), allowing you to use your EV as a powerbank to power home appliances up to 3.3kW.

In terms of suspension, the Ora Good Cat gets MacPherson Independent Suspension with stabiliser bar for the front and Torsion Beam setup for the rear. It also gets 18″ alloy wheels as standard.
Similar as before, it still gets a digital instrument cluster, 10.25″ infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 6 speakers and 50W wireless charging.
In the safety department, the Ora Good Cat comes with 6 airbags, 360-degree camera and intelligent self-parking. It also features a comprehensive suite of ADAS features including adaptive cruise control with intelligent cornering, autonomous emergency braking, lane centre keeping, lane change assist, lane keeping assist and rear cross traffic alert and braking.
2026 Ora Good Cat GT

Meanwhile, the Ora Good Cat GT is the sportier variant which features a slightly more powerful motor, aggressive styling, yellow accents and extra features.
The GT model gets a slightly more powerful front motor pushing 126kW (169hp) and 250Nm of torque which is still paired to the same 57.7kWh LFP battery as the Ultra.

It retains the same 6.6kW AC and 60kW DC max charging rate as the Ultra but the range is slightly lower at 460km on the NEDC cycle.
According to the spec sheet, the Good Cat GT weighs 1640kg, which is 130kg more than the Ultra.
Some of the extra features the GT provides over the Ultra include 18″ Sporty Black Alloy wheels with Yellow Trim, Yellow Calliper for all wheels, LED taillight strip with welcome light effect, hands-free tailgate and Black-Yellow Suede Leather interior.

Unlike the Good Cat Ultra which provides Massaging and Powered seats for the driver only, the GT variant offers them as standard along with ventilated seats for both front occupants.
When it comes to driving mode, the GT version adds an extra “Individual” mode in addition to the standard options of Normal, Sport, ECO, ECO+ and Auto. The Good Cat GT also comes with Launch Control.

In terms of dimensions, the GT model is wider and longer than the Ultra. It measures 1,848mm wide, 4,254mm long and 1,603 tall. As a comparison, the Ultra is 1,825mm wide, 4,235mm long and 1,603mm tall.
