Grab Malaysia has announced significant updates to its GrabUnlimited membership, adding a range of new perks that go beyond food delivery. One of the new highlights is the inclusion of exclusive deals, featuring curated partner benefits outside the Grab platform.
Among them is one-month access to ChatGPT Plus that was initially discovered last month, which provides users access to OpenAI’s latest AI models, faster response times as well as premium features like voice interactions and image generation. In a statement, OpenAI international managing director Oliver Jay said the collaboration reflects a shared goal of making AI more accessible to everyday users across Southeast Asia.
On the entertainment side, perks have also been expanded with members receiving 90 days of Viu Premium. The subscription offers ad-free streaming, unlimited downloads, and access to exclusive shows and films.
For travel, GrabUnlimited members are now entitled to receive exclusive discounts through Trip.com. According to Grab, those subscribed can enjoy 10% off hotel bookings with no minimum spend or cap, along with 8% off flight purchases.
Last but not least, Grab says it has also enhanced its mobility benefits for subscribers in Malaysia. Users now earn 5X GrabRewards points for every ringgit spent on the base fare of a ride, giving frequent riders greater value with each trip.
To recap, GrabUnlimited is priced at RM3.99 per month, while its existing benefits include exclusive discounts on GrabFood as well as GrabMart orders and deliveries. A free two-month trial is also available to those interested.
