BUDGET 2026 | Elements of a lemon law will be included in the Consumer Credit Act to safeguard the rights of consumers, said Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
In tabling Budget 2026 in the Dewan Rakyat today, Anwar said the law, which protects consumers from purchasing defective vehicles, will be inserted in the Consumer Credit Act, which was passed by Parliament in July.
