KUALA LUMPUR: The government will look into blacklisting both developers and board members found involved in sick housing projects.
Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming said companies tied to the same board members would also be barred from applying for new licences.
Sick projects refer to housing developments that are delayed, abandoned, or fail to meet their scheduled completion, often leaving buyers without their promised homes.
He added that existing housing development accounts would also be frozen.
This, he said, would be done through amending Housing Development (Control and Licensing) Act 1966.
