Gentari Go Power Pass Lite plan is now available for purchase by all EV owners. The plan made its debut during the launch of BYD Atto 2.
At that time, the only way to subscribe to the plan was by visiting the Atto 2 launch weekend at Heritage Valley KL. Now, you can get it directly through the Gentari Go app. Unfortunately, the free Gentari Go credits of up to RM55 are exclusive to the event.
Gentari Go Power Pass Lite vs Power Pass: What are the differences?

Similar to the original Power Pass, the new Power Pass Lite also offers 50% discounts on EV charging at all Gentari EV chargers. Subscribers also get to enjoy other perks, such as access to the Autocharge feature.
However, the Power Pass Lite plan only lasts for 3 months while the full-fledged Power Pass covers the whole year. That is why the price between the two plans differs so much – specifically, the Power Pass Lite costs RM250 while the full Power Pass costs RM899.

In addition to that, the discount covered by the Power Pass Lite is RM600 as opposed to the full Power Pass, which goes up to RM2,500. Regardless of the plan you choose, though, both Gentari Power Pass options qualify for tax relief.
Of course, this is subject to the provision for Year of Assessment (YA) 2025, which has not yet been announced by the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN). As a reference, the YA2024 provision provides tax relief of up to RM2,500 for the expenses on EV charging facilities, including subscription service.
Last but not least, the Power Pass Lite is a one-off plan and NOT renewable. So, you have to subscribe to the full annual pass if you want to continue enjoying the benefits provided by the Gentari Go Power Pass.
