KUALA LUMPUR: Ge-Shen Corporation Bhd’s net profit rose 69 per cent to RM5.32 million in the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2025, from RM3.14 million a year ago, driven by stronger revenue.

Its revenue jumped 61 per cent to RM109.48 million from RM67.86 million in the same quarter last year, fuelled by increased contributions from the EMS and medical divisions.

This was supported by stronger customer demand, better operational performance, and engineering initiatives that added value for customers by enhancing manufacturing processes and facilitating new product transfers.

“The improved profitability was primarily supported by consolidated results from Local Assembly Sdn Bhd, effective cost control measures, production improvement plans through data-driven initiatives to further enhance operational efficiency across the group’s subsidiaries,” it said in its Bursa Malaysia filing.

Ge-Shen said it will continue to enhance its value chain through vertical integration, providing end-to-end solutions from design and moulding to assembly and packaging, while expanding its high-tech manufacturing capabilities, particularly in medical and precision connector components.

The company aims to capture regional growth opportunities through its expanded Vietnam plant and improve operational excellence with automation, data-driven manufacturing, and lean systems.

“This quarter’s results reflect the strength of our ongoing transformation journey, centered on operational excellence, prudent cost management, and customer-centric execution.

“Our focus remains on expanding high-value customer segments, particularly in EMS, medical devices, industrial components, and high-precision applications across Malaysia and Vietnam,” its chief executive officer cum executive director Dr Adrian Foong Hong Nian said.
