Foreigners will be able to buy RON95 fuel for about RM2.60 per litre

As announced this morning, Malaysia will reduced its current subsidised RON95 pricing from the current RM2.05 per litre to RM1.99 per litre effective 30th September 2025. This new subsidised RON95 price is only applicable to Malaysian citizens with a MyKad and a valid driver’s licence.

However, for those who are not eligible including non-Malaysians, they can purchase RON95 petrol at unsubsidised pricing, which is expected to be about RM2.60 per litre.

The move would allow foreigners especially those from neighbouring countries to get easier access to RON95 petrol without subsidy.

It is worth pointing out that the the government has previously launched several petrol stations dedicated to sell unsubsidised RON95 petrol for foreigners which are located in the Northern states of Kedah and Perlis.

According to the official website, Double Petrol is currently selling RON95 at 2.57 per litre and Diesel for RM2.87 per litre at its Bukit Kayu Hitam station. Meanwhile at Double Padang Pesar, they are selling RON95 for RM2.74 per litre and Diesel for RM2.79 per litre.
