KUALA LUMPUR: captain Faisal Halim scored the winner in their 2-1 Super League win over Sabah at the Likas Stadium on Saturday.

The nippy winger’s strike in the 58th minute condemned the home side to their fourth defeat of the season, deepening their struggles in the league.

Meanwhile, this season’s surprise package Kuching City mauled Police 5-0 at the Selayang Stadium.

The Cats’ goals came from Yuki Tanigawa (13th), Ronald Ngah’s hat-trick (20th, 31st and 37th) and Ramadhan Saifullah Usman’s spotkick (54th).

The Sarawak side are third in the table with 17 points from eight matches, while Police sit eighth with 11 points.
