KUALA LUMPUR: Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil has extended his condolences to the family of former Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) chief news editor S. Sivaselvam, who died early this morning.
Fahmi said on behalf of the Communications Ministry, he extended his condolences to the family of the late Sivaselvam.
“His service and contributions to the field of journalism are greatly appreciated and will continue to be remembered. May his soul rest in peace,” Fahmi said in a Facebook post today.
Sivaselvam’s widow, Lalitha S. Nadarajah, said that her husband, better known as Siva, 77, died at their home in Cheras at about 3 am today, after a short illness. – BERNAMA
