SHAH ALAM, Oct 9 — Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil today announced a RM50 million allocation to Pos Malaysia Berhad to strengthen postal services nationwide, including in remote and rural areas.
He said the funds, channelled through the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), will modernise the postal sector and ensure it remains relevant and competitive in the digital era.
“It cannot be denied that as we talk about the growth of e-commerce and the digital economy, relationships between people remain complemented by the delivery of letters and parcels,” Fahmi said at the launch of Redly Pos Malaysia International in conjunction with World Post Day 2025 at the National Mail Centre here.
Redly, a new cross-border brand, unifies all of Pos Malaysia’s international mailing and shipping services.
The platform consolidates mail, parcel, freight and e-commerce delivery under one identity to simplify customer experience and enhance global connectivity.
“Redly brings everything together under one unified brand — clear, consistent, and ready to serve our customers better,” said Pos Malaysia chairman Tan Sri Syed Faisal Albar.
