BUKIT MERTAJAM:
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has brushed off a former Thai army general’s criticism of his role in the Thailand-Cambodia peace deal, describing the man as an “election loser”.
Anwar said it would be “unintelligent” to heed the comments of the ex-army official.
“He comes from a Thai party that, just like Pejuang in our country, has never won a single election,” said Anwar in an event in Cherok Tok Kun, here, today.
“Not only has he never won any seat, but he has also forfeited his election deposit – just like Pejuang here.”
