Embassy: No Malaysians hurt in Israeli strike on Doha, citizens urged to stay vigilant

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 — The Malaysian Embassy in Doha, Qatar, has confirmed that no Malaysians were affected in the explosion at Legtaifiya, which occurred following an Israeli regime attack on the Hamas leaders’ office.

In a statement today, the embassy nevertheless advised Malaysians in Qatar to remain vigilant and avoid the affected area.

“They are also advised to keep abreast of current developments through official information released by the Qatari authorities,” the embassy said in a statement posted on its official Facebook page.

The statement further noted that the Qatari government has assured that the situation is now fully under control and that the country’s airspace will not be closed.
