Don't use ends to justify means, Ahmad Maslan tells political leaders

KUALA LUMPUR: Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan has cautioned political leaders against using “ends to justify means”, saying it was unethical and not honourable.

The deputy public works minister also said it was wrong for anyone to seek the annihilation of their enemies.

Without referring to any particular party or issue, Ahmad said all parties should seek to achieve their goals honourably.

“Do not practise these two methods in politics and life: ‘the ends justify the means and annihilating your enemies’.

“These are unethical approaches. Use honourable methods to achieve your goals,” he said.
