DOE DG, deputy brought to court for remand application in e-waste probe

: The Environment Department (DOE) director-general and deputy director-general arrived at the Palace of Justice here at 9.30am Friday (Jan 30) together with two other suspects.

The four were escorted into a Magistrate’s Court by seven Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers.

ALSO READ: DOE DG and deputy nabbed by MACC in e-waste probe 

They have been detained by graft busters to assist in investigations linked to alleged irregularities involving electronic waste (e-waste).

It is believed the MACC will seek a remand order on the suspects today.
