KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 — A team of document forensic experts is scheduled to attend the inquest into the late Zara Qairina Mahathir at the Kota Kinabalu Coroner’s Court in Sabah today.
According to Harian Metro, the team, comprising Tay Eue Kam, Dr Dzulkiflee Ismail, and Dr Wan Nur Shuhaila Mat Desa, is set to conduct the second round of document examinations.
The examination aims to review 11 items of documentary material recently opened by the 17th witness, a chemist and DNA expert.
These will be compared with other exhibits already submitted in court, as well as documents provided by the legal team of Shahlan Jufri.
The examination is expected to last two days until tomorrow (Tuesday) in front of Coroner Amir Shah Amir Hassan.
Zara Qairina was found unconscious beneath her school dormitory building in the early hours of July 16 and was confirmed dead at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (HQE) the following day.
