PETALING JAYA:

The dead body of a man washed ashore onto Teluk Kemang beach in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, on Sunday, police said today.

Port Dickson police chief Maslan Udin said the deceased did not have any identification documents on him.

He also said based on the physical appearance of the body police did not suspect foul play but that an investigation is ongoing.

“The victim, about 165cm tall, has a stocky build, short hair, fair skin and a tattoo on his right hand.

“He was dressed in black long pants, a blue short-sleeved t-shirt with the Polo Sport logo. He was also wearing a brown belt,” he said in a statement.

The case has been classified as sudden death.

Maslan urged those with information on the deceased to contact the police to assist in the probe.
