KAJANG: The exhumation of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Reserve Officers’ Training Unit cadet Syamsul Haris Shamsudin, began this morning in Semenyih.
From as early as 8am, the main entrance of the Kampung Rinching Hulu Muslim Cemetery was filled with family members, residents and media personnel as preparations got underway for the exhumation.
The process was scheduled to begin at 8.30am to facilitate a second post-mortem examination.
Family members and members of the local community were seen gathering solemnly within the cemetery compound, while security and religious officials were on-site to oversee the proceedings.
The second post-mortem was requested by the family amid ongoing concerns and a desire for further clarity regarding the circumstances surrounding Syamsul Haris’s death.
