ZAGREB, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) — Croatian and Turkish investigators carried out a joint investigation on Saturday and visited the site where the Turkish Air Tractor went down in the town of Krivi Put in the western part of the country two days ago.

The Turkish investigators will collect information and provide it to the Croatian side, Croatia’s Chief Air Accident Investigator Danko Petrin said, according to the Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT).

Croatian investigators have found parts of the aircraft that could be key to the investigation, and all information collected will be shared with the Turkish side in the coming days, the HRT reported.

Meanwhile, Petrin said the cause of the crash may not be known for months, or even up to a year.

The Turkish Air Tractor AT-802, which was on a circular flight in Croatia, crashed in Krivi Put on Thursday, killing the pilot, the only person on board.

According to media reports, Air Tractor AT-802 planes are usually used in agriculture or firefighting operations.
