Cops appeal for help to find missing Egyptian teen


SUBANG JAYA: Police are appealing for public assistance in locating a 17-year-old Egyptian student who has been reported missing.

The youth has not been in contact with his family since July 21.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said the missing person has been identified as Youseff Sameh Sayed Khaled Abdel Wahab, a former student of a private college in the area.

“A representative from the college lodged a police report at 6.14pm yesterday after Youseff could not be contacted by his family since July 21,” he said in a statement today.

Youseff is described as fair-skinned, with a prominent nose, thin lips, curly black hair, and weighing approximately 60kg.

Police have urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the nearest police station or call the Subang Jaya district police headquarters operations room at 03-7862 7222 or 03-7862 7100.
