KUALA LUMPUR: Selangor ended DPMM FC’s four-match winning streak while Kelantan‘s poor run of form continued in the Super League today (Jan 10).
Imigresen FC collected maximum points in Batu Kawan after easing to a 3-0 win against Kelantan.
Wilmar Jordan Gil put the home side 1-0 up after heading past Kelantan goalkeeper Damyan Damyanov in the 31st minute.
Eduardo Sosa doubled Imigresen’s advantage in the 70th, finishing a swift counter-attack move.
Kelantan’s M. Rakesh deflected a Rafael Holstein cross in the 73rd to see Imigresen take a 3-0 lead which they held onto until the end.
Selangor also bagged full points with a 5-2 win over DPMM FC in an action-packed encounter at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium.
Selangor‘s Chrigor Moraes was in rampant form, netting four times in the fifth, 10th, 58th and 91st minutes. Nooa Laine scored for the Red Giants in the 48th.
Muhammad Hakeme Yazid Said (42nd) and Miguel Oliveira (62nd) put DPMM on the scoreboard.
Meanwhile at the Selayang Stadium, A determined PDRM FC missed out on a point after going down 1-0 to Terengganu.
Mohamad Baqiuddin Shamsudin scored the winner for Terengganu in the 85th minute.
Melaka will travel to the Bandaraya Stadium to take on Penang in more Super League action tomorrow (Jan 11).
