Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow praised Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s announcement of the government’s intention to table a bill to limit the tenure of prime ministers to 10 years or two full terms.
He called the move “an important institutional reform measure” in strengthening the country’s democratic processes while lauding its benefits to governance, particularly those rooted in transparency and integrity.
