KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 (Bernama) — The Second Pakistan-China B2B Investment Conference and High-Level Symposium on Industry-Education Integration in Vocational Education was held in Beijing, with the participation of senior leaders from both countries.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) executive director Muhammad Aamir Jan attended the event, alongside Shandong Vocational College of Science and Technology (SDVCST) deputy party secretary and president Liu Fuyu.
During the conference, SDVCST signed a strategic cooperation agreement with NAVTTC to deepen vocational education collaboration between China and Pakistan.
According to the SDVCST in a statement, the conference was approved by Pakistan’s federal cabinet and endorsed by NAVTTC, with the goal of strengthening vocational education ties, building a China-Pakistan vocational education community, and promoting industry-education integration.
The event also featured a university roundtable on the theme “Human-Machine Collaboration, Embarking on a New Journey of Intelligence”, where SDVCST vice president and member of the Party Committee Xu Xiaoyan delivered a keynote speech.
Both sides also held in-depth discussions on the implementation of cooperation projects following the signing ceremony.
Looking ahead, SDVCST will leverage the “Pakistan–Luban·Mozi College” as a key platform to expand collaboration in curriculum resource sharing, training base development, talent cultivation, and faculty-student exchanges.
These efforts will support the modernisation of Pakistan’s vocational education system, provide talent and technical backing for Chinese enterprises expanding abroad, and further advance international education cooperation.
