If you want to gain ChatGPT’s advanced capabilities at a more affordable price, they have just officially launched its new ChatGPT Go option.
Priced at RM38.99/month (inclusive of SST), ChatGPT Go is aimed at making its advanced AI tools more accessible to Malaysians which includes access to their latest GPT-5 model while offering higher message limits, image generation, file uploads and extended memory.
According to ChatGPT, the new Go plan makes it easier for people to use ChatGPT for everyday needs, whether it is for “how to” advice, personal writing, tutoring, self-care guidance of editing.
Compared to the current ChatGPT Free account, ChatGPT Go offers:
- 10x higher message limits with GPT-5
- 10x more image generations per day
- 10x more file or image uploads per day
- 2x longer memory for more personalised responses
As a comparison, the ChatGPT Plus plan costs RM99.90 per month while the Pro account costs RM999.90 per month.
ChatGPT recommends the Plus plan if you need more advanced thinking models and features like deep research, agent mode and Sora video creation. Meanwhile, the Pro plan is suited for professional, researcher or organisation that needs enterprise-grade scale, pro-level reasoning and their most advanced features.
According to ChatGPT, the Go plan is available starting today 9th October 2025 in 16 Asian countries including Malaysia.
To sign up, you can launch chat.openai.com, or the ChatGPT mobile app, and then create or login to your account. You can choose ChatGPT Go and pay via web (credit card) or in-app purchase purchase via Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Existing customers, can upgrade to Go from free within the mobile or web app.
